Presented here is their homonymous debut album, Tamba Trio, along with their following LP, Avanço. “O Barquinho,” from the former disc, became a big hit in Brazil, and their reading of Jorge Ben’s “Mas, que nada!” became their best-known hit and was used most famously by Nike in a 1998 World Cup television commercial.
