As frontman of bands like The Grand, Morudes, Amgala Temple, his own Amund Maarud Band and as solo-artist, Amund Maarud has an impressive repertoire to show for.Being highly critically acclaimed - Amund has been nominated to the Norwegian Grammy Awards for all his latest three releases in the Rock and Blues category - this time, he moves in a new direction. As one of the most prominent and energetic Norwegian (Blues-) guitarists for a near 20 year-long career he decided to join forces with Lucky Lips, ‘European Bluegrass band of 2017’. “The goal with this album was to compose music with a sound that did not depend on neither delay effects or fuzz boxes to work. I really fulfilled a dream. We’ve talked about this for several years, and finally we got the time and the right songs to make it happen”, Amund says. Several of the tracks were co-written by well-known Nashville artist/songwriter/producer Jace Everett. “Perfect Stranger” combines the best of both worlds in the Country and Blues-genre.
