Ian Carr’s NUCLEUS recorded at Loughborough University in Leicester on February 18th 1976 whilst on a 12-date British University winter tour.Playing a varied mix of Jazz Rock, Fusion and Funk, this Live 2CD set has over 102 minutes of music and features the jazz legend ‘Ian Carr’ with a great live band of musicians as they toured their recent album ‘Alleycat’.Originally recorded for a live radio broadcast, this previously un-released set is mastered from the original master tapes. Includes a 12-page booklet with rare photos and sleeve notes from keyboard player: Geoff Castle and writer: Alyn Shipton - who’s biography on Ian Carr (Out Of The Long Dark) was recently published.
