The very nature of Abigor is that of pure black metal. Hence it comes to no surprise the fact that the Austrian band’s discography comprises many non-full-length releases scattered along a career now twentysix years long. On the other hand, the duo has been collaborating with Avantgarde Music for quite some time now, and this is why Four Keys To A Foul Reich aims to recollect all the vinyl-only releases Abigor published under our label, giving them a CD support for the first time. These are the words with which the band introduced the compilation on their Facebook page: “‘Punishing’ loyal CD buyers with exclusive vinyl songs was never our intention, so, finally, everything recorded soon is available on both formats.” Plain and simple, 100% Abigor style.
