Jedno ze stěžejních děl tohoto žánru, navíc s výraznou "českou stopou" (oficiální premiéře, konané 29. a 30. dubna 1798 ve Vídni, předcházela soukromá premiéra pro knížete Františka Josefa Maxmiliána z Lobkovic na zámku Jezeří), bylo v historii nahrávacího průmyslu vydáno už mnohokrát a je tedy s čím srovnávat. Z dostupných krátkých ukázek se zdá, že se Mehta ve svém výkladu přiklání spíše na stranu rozmáchlé zvukomalebné fresky a plnokrevného hudebního dramatu, spíše než k nějakému křehce vystavěnému intelektuálnímu konceptu, ale nechme se konečným výsledkem překvapit.
