KDO: Americká rocková kapela během své kariéry prodala přes 40 milionů alb. Byla aktivní už v padesátých letech, ale největší slávy se dočkala až v letech sedmdesátých. V roce 2004 byla uvedena do síně slávy.
CO: Na podzim roku 2018 Doobie Brothers vystoupili v Beacon Street v New Yorku s koncertním programem, během něhož odehráli dvě kompletně celá svá alba, a to Toulouse Street z roku 1972 a The Captain And Me, které vyšlo o rok později. Záznam tohtoto vystoupení nyní vychází pod názvem Live From The Beacon Theatre ve variantách 2CD, 2CD+DVD a Blu-ray.
