The saxophonist Maja Lisac Barroso and the bandoneonist Marcelo Nisinman follow the historical development of classical tango, from the theory of the bandoneon as an organ substitute in churches to today's 'Tango Nuevo'. The varied programme contrasts and complements selected classical tangos, early music and original newcompositions.
